My name is Karim Pfeiffer, born in 2000, I am the son of the well-known agate collector and prospector of Moroccan agates, Joachim M. Pfeiffer.

My interest in agates were awakened and shaped by my father, and now I deal with the purchase and sale of Moroccan agates.

In 1990 my Father began to collect moroccan agates and to explore their deposites. That time moroccan agates were only known of the basalt outcrops in the northern part of the High Atlas Mountains, south of Marrakesh. They are pretty monotonous and nice peaces are rare. The U.S. collectors called them "Berber-Agates"

When my father discovered new areas he found them all untouched. Soon, however, a real agate rush set in on Moroccan agates, and nowadays some areas of discovery are almost cleared out.
